The Windsor Theatre Guild is one of the leading community theatre companies in the country with a rich history of talented performers. As a registered charity, our sole purpose is to “promote interest in all aspects of the performing arts”. Membership is open to all ages, and ranges from amateur actors and directors through to backstage supporters such as stage managers, costumiers, set builders, lighting and sound operators. We also have several members trained as professional teachers of drama and dance/choreography.
The Young Windsor Theatre Guild offers drama classes for children aged 8 years and above on Saturday mornings, their termly fee incorporating the membership fee. YWTG members are able to audition for roles in our Summer matinee production and learn all aspects of drama including mime, voice production, character exploration, improvisation, speech work and choral speaking, creative movement and performance skills.
